Transmission, Permitting, Technology Are Focus of CCAs and Power Providers

New transmission infrastructure, reforms to California’s resource-adequacy process and new technologies such as hydrogen are among the topics being bandied about among those responsible for procuring the electric power necessary to serve Californians.

Those topics dominated a panel discussion on reaching climate goals this week at the California Community Choice Association’s annual meeting, a traditionally in-person event held virtually this year. The event was partially sponsored by California Energy Markets.
