Electrify My Ride
More CleanPowerSF customers are pedaling toward a greener future thanks to the return of Electrify My Ride, which offers eligible customers a $1,000 coupon for a new electric bike. When the program opened on August 18, all 1,000 rebates were claimed within three hours.
Power Share Program
CPA’s Power Share program added four new rooftop solar projects, totaling 4 MW, to provide renewable energy to residential customers in disadvantaged communities. Power Share offers income-qualified customers in underserved communities 100% renewable energy at a 20% discount on their monthly electric bills.
Ava Charge EV Fast Charging Station
Ava celebrated the opening of its first public electric vehicle fast-charging station in downtown Oakland in November, featuring 31 fast-charging connectors with 24-hour access and waived parking fees while charging.
Solar Battery Savings Program
SDCP has officially launched its Solar Battery Savings program, which provides upfront rebates and ongoing performance incentives to residential customers who install a new solar-plus-storage system or add a battery to their existing solar setup.
Equity-Based Decarbonization Direct Install Program
California Choice Energy is introducing the Equity-Based Decarbonization Direct Install program, launching in November 2025 to expand clean energy benefits to historically underserved communities across Southern California.
GovPV Solar Carports
As part of WestLight Energy’s GovPV program, the city of Los Banos installed new solar carports at the Los Banos Community Center. Energy generated from the solar panels atop the carports is expected to save Los Banos more than $1 million over the panels’ lifetime. The solar power generated will offset 95% of the community center's energy usage.
Instant AC Savings Program
CPA’s new Instant AC Savings program helps residents beat the heat with up to $300 in savings so that income-eligible customers can purchase a new energy-efficient room or window air conditioner.
Strengthening Emergency Preparedness
Redwood Coast Energy Authority secured $60,000 to support prescribed-burn training for local firefighters, part of a larger grant to install solar and battery systems at remote fire stations. The trainings teach firefighters how to safely conduct controlled burns, a key tool for reducing wildfire risk and protecting communities.
Ava Bike Electric
Ava's Bike Electric instant rebate program promotes equitable e-bike adoption, reduces transportation-related carbon emissions, and supports local businesses. The program will distribute ~9,000 instant rebates worth $400 to $1,500 each. Over 40% of the $10 million in program funds is reserved for income-qualified applicants.
Battery and Solar Connect Programs
CEA's Battery Bonus Connect and Solar Plus Connect programs offer discounted or no-cost solar panel and battery storage systems for income-qualified customers. These programs can significantly reduce energy bills and enhance energy resilience among member communities.
All-Electric Fire Station Grant
Thanks to the SVCE Community Grant program, the new, all-electric Butterfield Fire Station opened its bays to the Morgan Hill community with a ribbon-cutting and animal adoption event. HVAC Tune-Up Rebate Program
Pioneer Community Energy’s HVAC Tune-Up Rebate Program offers rebates to all eligible residential customers for HVAC tune-ups. The Program's pilot launched in July and received more than 900 applications, leading Pioneer to provide more than $60,000 in rebates to customers.
Residential Virtual Power Plant
MCE’s Virtual Power Plant Pilot in Richmond, supported by a $5 million grant from the California Energy Commission, aims for a cleaner, more reliable electric grid while also addressing housing needs for low-income communities.
Induction Cooktop Lending Program
Redwood Coast Energy Authority's Induction Cooktop Lending Program allows residential customers to borrow portable induction cooktops and compatible cookware for a two-week trial. Customers can sign up online or in person and pick up equipment at RCEA’s office.
Energy Savings Box
Sonoma Clean Power recently introduced the free Energy Savings Box, a program designed to empower customers to reduce energy use and save money. The Energy Savings Box, valued at $100 and ideal for renters and those who live in multifamily housing, provides a collection of tools to help improve home energy efficiency.

Community Power, together with San Diego Foundation and Calpine Community Energy, is providing funding for projects and programs that guide communities toward a healthier, more sustainable clean energy future.
EV Charge SF
EV Charge SF is designed to help customers finance EV charging infrastructure in San Francisco. Customers can take advantage of up to $120,000 in financial incentives to install EV charging equipment at their home or business.
Solar Installer Marketplace
Pioneer Community Energy makes it easier for customers who want to power their own homes with the electricity they generate. Its online marketplace reduces stress and simplifies the process of shopping for the right product and installer by providing customers with quotes and product options all in one place.
Community Resilience Program
The SVCE Community Resilience Program is investing more than $5 million to help our region reduce the impacts of power outages from events such as earthquakes, PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoffs, storms, floods, and wildfires while supporting decarbonization and local job creation. The program provides SVCE’s 13 member agencies with grant funds to identify, prioritize, and implement resilient energy strategies.
Solar Inverter Replacement Program
SFPUC and CleanPowerSF are now offering free inspection, repair, and replacement of solar inverters to its eligible CARE and FERA customers through the Solar Inverter Replacement Program. Eligible applicants may receive up to $3,000 for the inspection, repair, and replacement of the solar system inverter.
GridSavvy Rewards
Sonoma Clean Power's GridSavvy Rewards program allows customers to earn rewards by lowering their energy usage when general electricity use is high. Customers get paid for helping power the electric grid with more local, clean energy. SCP sends an energy-saving alert when there is high demand for electricity, and customers can choose how to reduce their energy use.
Sun Storage Rebate
Through the Sun Storage Rebate program, Clean Power Alliance offers its residential customers up to $750 with an additional $250 for income-eligible customers when they install an eligible solar battery storage system in their home. With over 1,200 qualified solar battery storage systems to choose from, customers can now find the right solar battery for their home.
FutureFit Homes
Silicon Valley Clean Energy customers can receive rebates to remove polluting methane gas out of their homes and make the upgrade to clean, electric appliances. Customers can get up to $8,750 in rebates for upgrading to new electric home appliances. Plus, additional rebates of $4,250 for income-qualified customers.
Senior Housing Battery Storage
MCE worked to install and powered solar-paired battery storage systems valued at $100,000 to power critical facility needs at three senior housing sites.
XeroHome Free Energy Audit
Pico Rivera Innovative Municipal Energy (PRIME) will offer customers a free home energy audit through XeroHome, a digital platform that uses public data to develop energy models for homes. This application provides homeowners with detailed reports analyzing their energy usage and suggests improvements to enhance energy efficiency and reduce building carbonization.

Sonoma Clean Power’s Customer Center serves as a resource for customers to learn more about their energy bill, get questions answered, and learn how to save energy and reduce their costs.
Power Choice Program
CalChoice's Power Choice program offers customers the opportunity to benefit from solar and battery storage without the cost of installing and owning a system.
Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure
Clean Power Alliance (CPA) contributed to a $4.8 million investment in Ventura County electric vehicle charging infrastructure—the largest such investment in the county’s history for publicly available charging stations. Half of the total investment is dedicated to EV chargers located in low-income and disadvantaged communities.
Electrify Your Home
Central Coast Community Energy's Electrify Your Home is program that provides cash incentives to contractors for qualifying heat pump projects in the 3CE service area. These cash incentives are available when switching gas-powered water heaters and HVAC equipment to all-electric versions.
Clean Power Alliance Voyager Scholarship
The Clean Power Alliance Voyager Scholarship supports students at seven community colleges throughout Los Angeles County and Ventura County by providing financial aid to scholars enrolled in energy-focused careers, such as electric vehicles and advanced transportation technology, energy and environmental science, and alternative energy.

Ag Electrification Program
Central Coast Community Energy's Ag Electrification program provides rebates to customers who replace fossil fuel powered agricultural equipment with new, all-electric equipment. Eligible equipment includes irrigation pumps, farm tools, utility vehicles, and other equipment.
Hourly Flex Pricing for Agriculture
Valley Clean Energy's Hourly Flex Pricing Program provides growers with incentives for irrigation automation and uses scheduling software, to better manage energy costs. Energy prices are visible a week in advance and it’s easy to take advantage of low prices when conditions on the power grid are right.

Central Coast Community Energy (3CE)'s New Construction Electrification Program will provide housing developers and homeowners with incentives to build all-electric housing.
Transformative Home Electrification
East Bay Community Energy has partnered with BlocPower to electrify 60 homes throughout EBCE’s service territory. EBCE is providing $1M in project financing and $400,000 in incentives to fund this first-of-its-kind project for low- to moderate-income (LMI) single-family households.
Microgrid Maintenance Fellowship Program
Clean Power Alliance partnered with Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator's Green Jobs Fellowship to launch the solar-plus-storage maintenance training program to prepare program participants with the necessary skills to operate, deploy and maintain microgrid components and software.

Zero Percent Loan Program
Peninsula Clean Energy is providing homeowners in San Mateo County and the City of Los Banos interest-free financing and new rebates to install electric appliances and make other energy-efficiency upgrades.
Super Green Saver
CleanPowerSF's new program, Super Green Saver offers qualifying customers a 20% discount on their electricity bill and 100% renewable energy every month.
Power Share
Clean Power Alliance’s Power Share program provides income-qualified customers in under-resourced communities with 100% renewable energy and a 20 percent discount.
Solar Access Program
San José Clean Energy (SJCE)'s Solar Access Program enables customers who rent their home, cannot afford to install solar, or whose home is not suitable for solar to benefit from utility scale clean energy at a discount.
Backup Batteries at Traffic Lights
Silicon Valley Clean Energy Funded a project to install backup battery systems at 14 traffic light intersections in Saratoga. These backup batteries will switch on to power traffic lights and allow the city to maintain access to the signals throughout power outages.
Building Electrification & EV Infrastructure Reach Code Program
Central Coast Community Energy (3CE) is committing to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions within its service area by developing forward-thinking building and transportation electrification reach codes. The reach codes program provides technical assistance to help cities and counties adopt and implement reach codes and offers stakeholder outreach support.
Solar+Storage Microgrid
Redwood Coast Energy Authority launched California’s first 100% renewable energy, front-of-the-meter, multi-customer microgrid is now fully operational. Located in Humboldt County, California, the microgrid provides energy resilience for the regional airport and US Coast Guard Air Station.
EV Ride-Hailing Program
Peninsula Clean Energy is joining with Lyft and its rental car partner Flexdrive to expand electric vehicle use in ride-hailing in San Mateo County and beyond. As part of the Ride-Hail Electrification Pilot Program, Peninsula Clean Energy will provide $500,000 for a rental incentive to ride-hailing drivers to make the cost of renting an EV comparable to a gas-powered vehicle.
Backup Power for Critical Medical Facilities
MCE’s Energy Storage Program equipped the West Marin Medical Center (WMMC) in Point Reyes with a 10 kW (40 kWh) battery. The storage system is paired with the medical center’s rooftop solar to provide emergency backup power and daily load shifting to reduce energy costs.
Electric School Buses
Central Coast Community Energy's electric school bus program incentivizes public schools and school districts to purchase all-electric school buses in the 3CE region, covering up to 50% of the cost of a bus.
Home Upgrade Services
Peninsula Clean Energy helps customers find the rebates and services needed to move easily from gas to electric. This will improve a home, making it more comfortable, healthier, and even saving money on a utility bill.
RCEA Mobile Solar and Battery Trailer
RCEA facilitated a one-year assignment of a mobile solar and battery trailer for the Southern Humboldt Fire Chiefs Association. The trailer will be utilized by 17 fire agencies.
Smart EV Charging
MCE has partnered with EV charging software firm ev.energy to release the MCE Sync app for iOS and Android, providing a hassle-free way for EV drivers to charge off-peak and save money without any special hardware.
Vehicle Charger Incentives
CPA partnered in the launch of the largest electric vehicle installation effort to date in Ventura County with the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District, the Ventura County Regional Energy Alliance, and the California Energy Commission, dedication at least 45% of the funds to low-income and disadvantaged communities.

Silicon Valley Clean Energy's pilot with Outthink provided e-bikes to four income-qualified residents and implemented low-cost streetscape modifications to demonstrate the benefits and challenges of mode shifting and active transportation.

Central Coast Community Energy implemented the second iteration of the Agricultural Electrification Program to provide incentives to local agricultural businesses to replace fossil fuel powered equipment with all electric equipment, including irrigation pumps, tractors and other ag-related equipment.
