Orange County Power Authority takes bold steps to provide cleaner power at competitive rates

The Orange County Power Authority (OCPA) announced that its member cities have selected the renewable energy plans that will power their communities – taking bold steps to address climate change.
- Buena Park – 100% renewable energy
- Huntington Beach – 100% renewable energy
- Irvine – 100% renewable energy
- Fullerton – 70% renewable energy
OCPA Member cities offer cleaner energy at competitive rates, and three cities selected 100% renewable energy for their residents and commercial businesses.
“Upon launch, OCPA expects to be the greenest Community Choice Energy program in the State of California,” said Mike Carroll, OCPA Chairman. “This demonstrates extraordinary environmental leadership on the part of our member cities to ensure a healthier and more resilient future for us all through the Orange County Power Authority.”
